Breaking The Cycle

Children Who Witness Violence

Children only have one chance at a childhood.

A child needs a caring and nurturing environment surrounded by loving adults who provide a sense trust and security in order to thrive. But, what happens when that environment is filled with abuse and chaos instead?

Several children are exposed to domestic violence within their own homes, leaving a lasting impression that can result in psychological disharmony. Learning the facts and warning signs is a first step to overcoming this trauma and achieving a brighter future for the community as a whole.

Join us in a discussion about the devastating impact that exposure to domestic violence has on children and the ways in which society can support this children to break the cycle of violence.

Creating a community with space for all voices is an important part of redefining the narratives that promote and normalise violence and is thus an integral part of our Help Anna campaign.
